Hey Coaches, I have some information to pass along.....
1) Erik, Evan, and I want to seed the divisions so I can get out the tournament schedules to you. But very few of you are recording your league results for us to see. Without those results the only thing we have to go on is the population of your school. Please record those results for us.
2) a reminder - every school (except for those playing in Div 2 Boys and Girls on Thursday, Feb 12 because Lancaster will provide all of the scorers on that day) needs to bring one extra body along on the day of your tournament to help with the scoring during your game - it can be a parent, sibling, - please spend a few minutes prior to the tournament explaining how to score accurately and how important it is to do this job.
3) LESAA has prepared (and attached) a "Code of Conduct" - I sent this out to the volleyball coaches and asked them to go over it with their players throughout the season. Some schools read them prior to their exhibition games and some printed copies that were sent home with their athletes. LESAA will have these posted at our tournaments. It is very important to stress with your athletes and your spectators that any inappropriate behaviour directed towards opponents or the officials will not be tolerated. Our officials are volunteering their time to help us out and subjecting them to abuse will not happen.
