Description
|
The Basketball Shooting Challenge involves 99 teams from 20 elementary schools. The team of 3 competitors will have 1 person shooting free throws for 60 seconds, a second person doing continuous layups for 60 seconds, and the final member will be shooting Around the World for 60 seconds. The total accumulated score of the 3 skills will be compared to the score from the school that they are competing against.
The 6 divisions - intermediate boys, intermediate girls, intermediate open, junior boys, junior girls, and junior open - will each compete in a preliminary tournament with the top 8 teams in each division advancing to the playoffs which will run from March 3 to the 10th.
