The Regional and District Meets will be held at CaraCo Track at the Invista Center.

Age Categories for 2022 Track and Field Meets: 
Senior: students born in 2009 or earlier
Bantam: students born in 2010 or 2011
Atom: students born in 2012 or 2013

*Athletes can choose to move up to a higher age category, but must do this for all events including relay.

Events Offered: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1200m, 4x100m relay, shot put, long jump, triple jump, high jump, 2000m (Open), 400m wheelchair race (OPEN if necessary)

*Athletes must be properly conditioned/trained for events.  No walkers, must be able to jump minimum heights for high jump.

*Each event will be called only twice over the PA System.

Athletes per School: Each school is entitled to enter 4 students in each event and 1 relay team per age category.

Events per Athlete: Each athlete may enter a maximum of 3 individual events and 1 relay event.

Medals:  Medals will be awarded to the top athletes in each age category.  If a tie exists, both athletes will receive medals.  Individual points will be awarded as follows:

1st place: 7 points
2nd place: 5 points
3rd place: 3 points
4th place: 1 point

Points will only be awarded for individual events.

Coaching: During an event, athletes are not allowed to receive assistance in any form (placing, lap times) from any non-officials unless they are in the stands.  One warning will be given to the school involved.  Any further infractions will result in the disqualification of the athlete involved in the second infraction.

Qualification for District Meet: Each region will send 5 athletes for each event and 3 relay teams per age category to the District Meet. 

*The region that has the first meet of the year will only send 4.
